Summary

The two ex officio seats go, and so does their section.

The bill removes the two non-voting ex officio seats from the state's air conditioning and refrigeration contractors advisory board and repeals the section that set up those seats. It touches the nine appointed board members and the people who held the ex officio seats, and it changes the term schedule so three appointed members' six-year terms end every odd-numbered year instead of two. On the ground, the board becomes nine appointed voting members with a term rotation that fits that number, starting September 1, 2025.
