Summary

A Legislative Budget Board statement on whether anyone asked for a review.

The bill requires any bill that would create or expand an occupational license to carry a Legislative Budget Board statement saying whether a lawmaker asked for a review of it under the existing Section 325.023 review process, plus any review report that was produced. That statement and report must be printed with the committee report and stay attached to the bill all the way to the governor. Lawmakers and the public get a visible flag on licensing bills showing whether anyone asked for the review, starting September 1, 2025.
