THE TEXT
“is acting under another state or federal law exception to the warrant requirement”
Bill text, introduced version (I)
The last exception is open-ended and folds in every existing exception to the warrant requirement, so how much the new limit actually restricts depends on law outside the bill rather than on the bill's own text.

Summary
Permission, probable cause, a warrant, an emergency, or “another state or federal law exception”.
The bill orders the Parks and Wildlife Commission to write a rule barring game wardens and other department peace officers from entering private property unless one of five conditions is met. Those conditions are owner permission, probable cause of an offense on the property, a warrant or court order, an emergency threatening the public, or any other state or federal exception to the warrant requirement. Landowners get a new limit on warden entry starting September 1, 2025, while other department employees keep the old broad right to enter land where game ranges.
