Summary
Board candidates, officers and contractors all touched.
This bill rewrites parts of the local law that runs the Concho County Hospital District. It touches people who want to run for the district board, the board's officers and administrator, and the contractors who build for the district. Candidates now file a standard application instead of a petition, directors no longer must own land, the assistant administrator post is dropped, and the old rule that contracts over $2,000 be advertised is replaced with general state construction contract and bond rules.
