Summary

Due September 1, 2026. Private colleges may decline to answer.

The bill orders the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to write one report to the Legislature by September 1, 2026, on how many students with disabilities enroll in college and what helps or blocks them. Public colleges must hand over data when the board asks, and private colleges may be asked but are not required to answer. Nothing changes for students right away; the bill produces a report with recommendations and then expires in 2027.

The bill's only operative act is ordering a report, and any action waits on its recommendations. The caption says this openly.
