Summary

Section 2158.003 goes. State fleet wheelbase limits go with it.

The bill repeals Section 2158.003 of the Government Code, which the caption says holds wheelbase and horsepower limits on the state's passenger vehicle fleet. It touches state agencies that buy passenger cars and the people who drive them on state business. Starting September 1, 2025, agencies would no longer face those size and engine-power limits when buying fleet vehicles.
