Summary

The county judge, the county court at law judge, plus three to five picks.

This bill changes who sits on the Moore County Juvenile Board, which will now include the county judge, the county court at law judge, and three to five members picked by the commissioners court instead of six appointees. Appointed members serve two-year terms ending on December 31 of even-numbered years, and the commissioners court can vote to extend a member's term by up to two years. The bill also stops exempting the Moore County board from two general juvenile board sections, so those state rules now apply to it starting September 1, 2025.
