Bill text, introduced version (I)

The caption speaks of "certain cultural attractions," but the only beneficiary is one named Dallas district. The word "certain" hints at narrowness, so this is a mild instance.

Summary

One beneficiary: the Bishop Arts District in Dallas. Signs up by September 1, 2026.

The bill orders the Texas Department of Transportation to put up and maintain highway signs pointing drivers to the Bishop Arts District in Dallas's North Oak Cliff neighborhood. The signs go at named exits off Interstate 30 and Interstate 35E, and they must follow state and federal traffic sign rules. The work must be done by September 1, 2026, so drivers near those exits will see new directional signs for one Dallas district.
