The bill writes specific named organizations' videos into state law as required classroom viewing. That puts particular producers' content in front of every covered student, instead of leaving material choices to the board.

Summary

Three named videos, shown if publicly available. Lessons include that life begins at fertilization.

The bill orders the State Board of Education to require fetal development lessons in public school health classes, including the idea that life begins at fertilization. It touches every public school student at the grade levels the board picks, plus local school health advisory councils, which must recommend curriculum for the new lessons. On the ground, students would be taught about pregnancy, birth defects, and growth in each trimester, and would be shown three named videos if they are publicly available, starting with the 2025-2026 school year.
