Summary

Neches River watershed in 17 East Texas counties replaces 1935 and 1977 references.

The bill rewrites the boundary of the Angelina and Neches River Authority as the Neches River watershed in 17 named East Texas counties, replacing an old reference to 1935 and 1977 session laws. It touches the river authority and the residents and landowners in that watershed. It also says a defect or overlap in the authority's boundary does not make the authority invalid, and it takes effect September 1, 2025.
