Summary
Service contracts too.
The bill lets state agencies, cities, counties and other local governments accept years of related work experience in place of a college degree when they hire, and lets government contracts for services do the same. It touches public employers, job applicants without degrees, and service contractors. If an employer chooses to use the swap, it cannot ask for more than set limits (for example, four years for a bachelor's degree), cannot use it to skip a required license, and must say in every job ad that the swap is available.
