Summary

180 days’ notice to adopt it, 180 to repeal it.

The bill lets a junior college district board decide, by resolution, that trustee races are won by whoever gets the most votes, a plurality. The resolution must be adopted at least 180 days before an election and stays in force until the board repeals it with the same 180-day notice. Boards that use this option can skip runoffs for trustee seats; boards that do nothing keep their current rules.
