Summary

Covers licensed hospitals, hospital district facilities and federally qualified health centers.

The bill bars certain health facilities from letting federal immigration officers, or police doing immigration work, onto their premises unless the officers have a judicial warrant. It covers licensed hospitals, facilities owned or run by hospital districts, and federally qualified health centers. Starting September 1, 2025, those facilities would need to turn away immigration officers who show up without a judge-signed warrant, though the bill sets no penalty for a facility that does not comply.
