Summary

Hospitals and community health centers keep them out without one.

The bill bars hospitals, hospital district facilities and federally qualified health centers from letting federal immigration officers, or police doing immigration work, onto their premises unless the officer has a judicial warrant. It touches licensed hospitals, hospital district clinics, community health centers, and officers enforcing immigration law. Starting September 1, 2025, these facilities lose the choice to admit immigration officers voluntarily, though the bill sets no penalty for breaking the rule.
