Summary

From 10 percent to five percent for state aviation loans or grants.

The bill lowers the local share an airport must put up to get a state aviation loan or grant from 10 percent to five percent when the airport sits in an economically disadvantaged county. It touches the Texas Transportation Commission and the cities and counties that run airports in those poorer counties. On the ground, airports in qualifying counties can win state aviation money while putting up half the local match they need today.
