Summary

Just a report, due September 1, 2026. Then it expires in 2027.

The bill orders the Texas Education Agency to study whether the state should set up 10 standard building designs that school districts would have to pick from when they build a new campus. The study must also estimate how much money districts would save with standard designs, and the agency must report to state leaders and the education committees by September 1, 2026. Nothing changes for school districts now; the bill only produces a report and then expires in 2027.
