Summary

Section 351.04155, gone. Certain counties only.

This bill deletes one section of the Local Government Code, Section 351.04155, which governs how jail commissaries run in certain counties. It touches the counties covered by that section, their sheriffs and commissioners courts, and the people held in those county jails who buy from the commissary. Starting September 1, 2025, the special commissary rule in that section no longer applies, and those counties fall back on whatever general law covers jail commissaries.
