Summary

Section 351.04155 goes away.

The bill repeals one section of the Local Government Code, Section 351.04155, which governs how jail commissaries run in certain counties. It touches the counties covered by that section, along with their sheriffs and the people held in their jails. Starting September 1, 2025, that special rule is gone, and those counties' commissaries fall under whatever general commissary law remains.
