Summary

One more number: how many students earned each type.

The bill adds one item to the list of numbers each school district must report to the state's education data system at the end of every school year. Districts must now also report how many students earned each type of high school performance acknowledgment. The new count starts with the 2025-2026 school year, so the state gets data on these acknowledgments that it did not collect before.
