Summary

Two more items off the inspection list.

This bill adds two items to the list of equipment that Texas boiler registration and inspection rules do not cover. It exempts small boilers built into medical devices regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, plus unfired pressure vessels inside autoclaves. Starting September 1, 2025, owners of that equipment, such as clinics and labs, would no longer have to register those units or have them inspected under the state boiler law.
