Summary

Due to the state housing department by January 1.

The bill requires every city, county or other local government that has certain subsidized apartment projects inside its borders to send the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs a yearly report by January 1. It covers apartment projects that get state-administered bond financing, housing tax credits, or a local property tax exemption, and the report must list each project's developer, its value, and how long the benefit lasts. The department must then post this information in a public database, keep each project's records for at least two years after its benefits end, and send a yearly report to the legislature by March 1.
