Summary

Touches the council and landowners applying for easement grants.

The bill edits the Texas Farm and Ranch Lands Conservation Program, which buys conservation easements to keep land in farming and ranching. It touches the program's council and landowners who apply for easement grants. The council must now score applications partly on how productive the land is for agriculture, and the definitions and council duties are reworded to stress keeping land in agricultural use alongside open space and wildlife or water conservation.
