relating to the issuance of permits for producer dairies in certain areas of this state.

Caption from analyzed text · version I.

Summary

One subsection of the milk law goes away.

The bill repeals one subsection of the state health law on milk, Section 435.006(d) of the Health and Safety Code, which according to the caption limits permits for producer dairies in certain areas of Texas. It touches dairy producers seeking permits and the state office that issues them in whatever areas that subsection covers, but the bill text does not reprint the repealed language or name those areas. Once the bill takes effect, that restriction is gone, and permits in those areas would follow the same rules as everywhere else in the state.
